
Novak Djokovic beats Andy Murray 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 to win the French Open and complete a career grand slam.

The world No. 1 becomes just the eighth man in history to win all four grand slam titles -- the French Open, Wimbledon, Australian Open and U.S. Open.

Murray took the first set of the encounter but was going up against a career record of 10 wins and 23 losses against Djokovic.

Cheered on by wife Kim Sears and coach Jamie Delgado, the Brit was aiming to win his third grand slam after winning the 2012 U.S. Open and Wimbledon in 2013.

But Djokovic dominated from thereon, dropping just seven more games en route to winning the match.

Both Murray and Djokovic were angered on a number of occasions during the match. Murray continued to have trouble with the overhead camera...

While Djokovic felt aggrieved after the umpire awarded a point to Murray following a late call from a line judge.

A whole host of famous stars were out to watch the final, including Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio (C).

As well as going up against Djokovic, Murray was facing a crowd heavily in the Serb's favor.
